Actress-philanthropist Angel Locsin claps back at her basher who claimed that she is a part of the New People’s Army (NPA).
NPA is the armed wing of the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP), centered mostly in rural areas of the Philippines.
In an Instagram post on February 25, Locsin shared a picture with Kris Aquino to celebrate the latter’s birthday.
“Small gathering to celebrate ate kris’ birthday! posting this picture because she looksteka baba so beautiful and healthy here.
“Obviously, alam niyo na kung anong kanya-kanyang bet na kulay namin,” said Locsin.

Kris was wearing a yellow shirt while Locsin wore a pink top.
Locsin’s post was greeted with love and support from the netizens as they commended her friendship with the TV host.
However, one netizen wrote a sarcastic comment saying, “Mabuhay ang NPA!”
Locsin then gave a meaningful reply saying, “Nanre-redtag, style diktaturya.”
The actress seemed to be referring to someone who red tags people. She also emphasized the word dictator.
Her husband, Neil Arce, also backed her up saying, “Siguro naniniwala ka rin sa Tallano gold” along with laughing emojis.
Some of Bongbong Marcos’ supporters have long believed in the Tallano gold mythology. People alleged that the Marcos family held gold they planned to gift to voters in the May elections.
Angel Locsin was previously red-tagged by General Antonio Parlade Jr. The issues were cleared after Locsin met up with the general and had a talk.
Despite being red-tagged, the actress continues to help the oppressed people. She previously spoke up for a Lumad student who was not given the medication he needed considering his current health condition.
