Angel Locsin made her showbiz breakthrough in 2004 with GMA Network’s fantasy-themed TV series Mulawin.
But little did anyone know, the actress started her career in ABS-CBN as a part of Star Circle Batch 9.
In an Instagram post on March 26, Divine Lee shared a throwback post of Janus del Prado from December 2019 that included a photo of the Star Circle Batch 9.
Divine tagged her batchmates Angel Locsin, Heart Evangelista, Danes Lee, and CJ Jaravata.

Angel also reposted the photo on her Instagram story and simply wrote, “Yes! Major throwback”
Also included in the photo are Zeppi Borromeo, Michelle Bayle, Janus de Prado, Adrian Alandy, and Rafael Rosell.
In the early 2000s, Angel Locsin could not sign a contract with ABS-CBN as her father opposed the idea at the time. She later signed with the GMA network and became a part of Click (2002).
She had her breakthrough in 2004 after starring Mulawin alongside Richard Gutierrez. She was then cast for the title role of Darna in 2005.
She transferred to ABS-CBN in 2007 and is still with the network up until this day.
The actress recently made the headlines after reuniting with her Darna co-star Francis Magundayao during the PasigLaban rally event on March 20.
