Gelli De Belen, Carmina Villaroel-Legaspi, are not open to talking about their sex life

On March 16, Gelli de Belen and Carmina Villaroel-Legaspi shared their thoughts on publicly discussing their sex life through platforms.

During the media conference for Viva One’s Oomph Podcast Network, de Belen clarified she could discuss details about her sex life up to a certain extent.

“Up to a certain extent, mainly because I have boys, I have children. I don’t want them to be hearing that. It’s not something that they will appreciate.”

However, she explained that she would rather not discuss her sex life publicly out of respect for her children and her husband, Ariel Rivera.

“I’m just sparing them of any extra info [that] they don’t need to know. [Just] because of my kids. ‘Yung parang ano na lang. Respeto ko na lang sa kanila ‘yun, pati na sa asawa ko. Kasi parang at our age, you know how Ariel is while we can actually talk about this when we are just talking in the living room, I wouldn’t mind. But for every body to know, ay hindi na kailangan.”

Villaroel, on the other hand, admitted she does not feel comfortable discussing her sex life.

“Ako, no. I’m just not comfortable talking about stuff. Kahit na recorded, or– you can ask my friends, especially Gelli. I’m really not comfortable talking about my sex life. Anything, ano d’yan.”

She then praised her fellow Oomph Podcast Network colleagues, Amanda Coling and Tina Wells, for bravely discussing their private lives.

“Kaya nga na-aamaze ako kila Amanda and Tina. Taas din ‘yung kamay ko sa kanila because it’s really not easy to talk about ‘yung mga private topics of their private lives. But sa kanila kasi parang, ‘This is me eh, ganon sila.’

“Like I said there’s no judgement. Ganyan ‘yung personality nila ganyan ‘yung opinion nila, wala akong judgement sa kanila. Actually na-amaze ako sa kanila at nagagalingan ako because hindi ko sinasabing Santa ako. I’m just saying conservative ako, hindi lang siguro medyo halata.”

Carmina and Gelli have been friends since the ’90s Defunct Comedy Gag Show, Tropang Trumpo.

Now Carmina and Gelli host their podcast, Wala Pa Kaming Title, with their celebrity friends Candy Pangilinan and Janice de Belen, wherein they provide their spontaneous “chikahan” for their audience.

Wala Pa Kaming Title is part of the Oomph Podcast Network under Viva One. Viva One is the digital incubation and aggregation division of Viva Communications Inc., which takes the lead in bringing podcast titles for the Pinoy audience.
