Gigi de Lana dreams of working on a project with seasoned actor Albert Martinez, she said on Tuesday, March 1.
Recalling the time she first saw Martinez act, de Lana confessed she was captivated by him.
“Siguro po si sir Albert Martinez. Gusto ko pong… kahit makasama ko lang siya sa isang show ganoon. Parang gusto ko siyang maging father kasi sobrang iniidolo ko po kasi siya,” she expressed during the virtual press conference for her upcoming concert Domination.
When asked if she is game to do a December love affair with him, the singer responded, “Yeah po! If given a chance po talaga.”
De Lana previously worked with Gerald Anderson in the series Hello, Heart, and the former admitted that she is open to doing another project with the actor.
This time around, she wants GG Vibes bandmates to be part of the cast.
“Sige po, opo! Go po ulit ako doon! Pero this time gusto kong kasama ang GG Vibes,” she jested.
In the meantime, the singer and her band are busy with their upcoming concert which is kicking off at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila this Saturday (March 5) at 8 pm. It will be followed by their Middle East tour as they are scheduled to rock the Jubilee stage at the Expo 2020 in Dubai on March 12.
Then on March 18 and 25, they will perform at the National Theatre of Abu Dhabi and Crowne Plaza Bahrain, respectively.
The Gigi De Lana and The Gigi Vibes: Domination concert also marks the group’s first-ever live appearance ever since the pandemic rocked the world.
