Reelectionist Joy Belmonte condemned her main rival in the Quezon City mayoral race during her proclamation rally on Friday, March 25.
Without mentioning names, Belmonte criticized a politician for distributing the antiparasitic drug ivermectin, which the Food and Drug Administration did not approve.
She also condemned him for voting for the disapproval of ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal in July 2020, which led many to lose their jobs.
Yan may resibo.
AnaKalusugan partylist representative Mike Defensor and Deputy Speaker Rodante Marcoleta led the distribution of ivermectin in Barangay Matandang Balara in 2021. Defensor was among the 70 lawmakers who voted to junk ABS-CBN’s application.
