Luke Conde shared his hopes of starring in a GMA Network series this year during an interview with LionhearTV on Wednesday, February 23.
Conde said he had made guesting in numerous Kapuso shows in his seven-month stay with the Network and he is now praying to have his [own] series and host a show.
He shared, “I’m praying and hoping na sana bigyan nila ako ng sariling soap kasi last year until the ngayong first part ng 2022 puro guestings palang sa mga series yung nagagwa ko. So just in case, I’m praying, hoping na sana magkaroon na ako ng sarili kong drama na masasabi kong I’m on a starring role hindi lang as guest. Gusto ko rin magkaroon ng chnce na makapaghost ng isang show.”
In terms of growth as an artist, the dancer-host said that he is currently developing his acting skills.
He said, “Ngayon, masasabi ko na yung acting talaga yung nabigyan ko ng time since I transferred to GMA. I’m really developing my acting skills talaga.”
What are his thoughts about Sparkle, the talent agency owned by GMA Network?
“Ganda ng name. Di ba you cannot make a fire kung magii-start dun sa spark. Ang ganda nung name ng Sparkle,” he said.
He also appreciated the warm welcome of his co-workers in the Kapuso network.
He related, “Kasi ngayon puro guestings palang ako. Ito yung nakakatuwa, whenever I’m in the set, they’re all accomodating. They will not make you feel na bago ka or parang male-left out ka within the group. Sa lahat ng guestings ko, di ako naging stranger, open arms they welcomed me. Yun yung masaya dun.”
He also expressed his wish to work with Kapuso stars Dingdong Dantes, Marian Rivera, and Heart Evangelista.
He revealed, “Of course si Kuya Dong. Gusto ko sana siyang makatrabaho one day. Sana magkaproject kami together. Of course yung wife niya si Miss Marian sana magkaroon din ng chance maka-work. Of course, Miss Heart Evangelista.”
Conde is set to make his appearances in the Kapuso series Lolong and Agimat ng Agila.
He is among the celebrities and influencers who attended the launch event XTREME for its latest concept store at DiviMall in Anabu, Imus City, Cavite.
