After a grueling 2-year hiatus of live events globally, Filipinos worldwide are just recently easing- in the new normal mandates in the light of the re-opening of the global economy. For the past couple of years, we have resorted and adjusted to everything virtual.
However, there is nothing like a live musical experience, especially for Pinoys whose culture is mostly hinged to the entertainment scene. Virtual shows and internet-based events were only as effective until online fatigue kicked in.
There was a gradual decline in interest on these events that were observed after a while during the Covid-19 pandemic, hence, the audience couldn’t help but become more and more passive over time.
For most Filipinos, it was a tedious and an almost never-ending struggle to find ways to preserve their sanity through entertainment. In light of the turn of events, MAK ENTERTAINMENT SERVICES (MAKES) heeds the call of our Filipino kababayans who have been wanting to experience live entertainment once again.
MAKES proudly presents: Mak Musik Festival, A Celebration of Filipino Culture through Amazing Food and Music. This music festival has one of the most expansive line up to be mounted in the West Coast. Ranging from Pop to RnB to Hip-Hop, these world-class artists from the Philippines and United States will assemble in one massive event! Showcasing some of the best and brightest Filipino artists worldwide as well as offering some of the most scrumptious Filipino dishes like lumpia, pancit, and the famous Pinoy street foods like balut, isaw, and adidas, the Mak Musik Festival is surely a Filipino Music Festival that you do not want to miss!
This event will run for 2 consecutive days on April 1 and 2, 2022 at the Exposition Park (South Lawn), 902 Exposition Park Dr. Los Angeles, California. A wide range of music genres – from Pop to RNB to Pinoy Rock will be performed by talented Filipino and Filipino-American artists in one stage.
