Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu on Friday, April 29, was shocked to know that instead of Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., responding to the challenge of Vice President Leni Robredo, it was his spokesman, Atty. Vic Rodriguez, who did the talking.

Robredo, in a statement, invited the presidential frontrunner to a one-on-one debate.
We owe it to the people and to our country.
However, if he wins the presidency, the former senator said, he will [personally] appear in press briefings.
“I think I won’t appoint a spokesman. I will face the media,” he stated in an interview with CNN Philippines on Tuesday, April 26.
In a tweet, the Chinita Princess became curious why the presidential candidate was not the one who answered Robredo’s call.
Diba campaign period palang? Dapat yung nag aapply yung sasagot. Just like in any other JOB APPLICATION or JOB INTERVIEW,” she inquired.

Kim Chiu’s tweet was again interpreted by many propagandists, dragging her again into the bad light but she’s unaffected.

In the entirety of the election campaign period, Marcos only appeared once in a presidential forum.
He was invited to GMA Network’s The Jessica Soho Presidential Interviews but declined.
CNN Philippines held a presidential forum, but the presidential candidate did not appear. The Commission on Elections (Comelec) also sponsored two presidential debates–he was a no-show.
He only appeared in the SMNI presidential forum with his biggest rivals Robredo, Manila City Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso, Senators Ping Lacson and Manny Pacquiao skipping the event.
