More on-demand entertainment will dazzle Pinoy audiences with SKY, as the freshest international titles stream on HBO GO this June. Streaming now on HBO GO is the newest adventure in the Wizarding World™ created by J.K. Rowling, “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.”
Professor Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) knows the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen) is moving to seize control of the wizarding world. Unable to stop him alone, he entrusts Magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) to lead an intrepid team of wizards, witches and one brave Muggle baker on a dangerous mission, where they encounter old and new beasts and clash with Grindelwald’s growing legion of followers. Viewers are invited to the love, food, music and fun of “Father of the Bride,” a modern rom-com reimagined from the timeless classic streaming on-demand from June 16 (Thursday). Long-marrieds Billy (Andy Garcia) and Ingrid (Gloria Estefan) are surprised when their eldest daughter Sofia (Adria Arjona) comes home to Miami for a visit. But the surprises just keep coming when she announces a new boyfriend, Adan (Diego Boneta) – who is now her fiancé – and their plans for a quick-turnaround wedding and new life together. Sofia’s quickfire revelations keep Billy and Ingrid from making their own disclosure – that they’re calling quits on their marriage – but both agree to delay the news and play the loving couple for the benefit of the family.
Also, “Westworld” fans are in for a treat with the fourth season premiere of the HBO Original series beginning June 27 (Monday), same time as the U.S. at 9 AM on HBO GO. The Emmy®-winning series returns to the dark odyssey about the fate of sentient life on earth and stars Evan Rachel Wood, Emmy® winner Thandiwe Newton, Ed Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, Luke Hemsworth, Aaron Paul, Angela Sarafyan, James Marsden, Oscar® winner Ariana DeBose, Aurora Perrineau, and Daniel Wu.
In addition, viewers can stream more of the hottest shows this June, including “Irma Vep,” the HBO Original series featuring Alicia Vikander, with new episodes available every Tuesday at 9 AM; and comedy-action flick “Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard” starring Ryan Reynolds, Salma Hayek, Antonio Banderas, and Samuel L. Jackson.
