On June 13, Filipino singer-songwriter and host Ogie Alcasid addressed claims that he and his wife Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid.
On his Twitter account, Alcasid clarified that he and Velasquez are ‘very much in love,’ denying the claims that they are having marital issues.
I have read some tweets about my wife and I having marital problems. For the record, wifey and I are so much in love and there has not been a day where that love has for each has ever diminished.

Alcasid responded to a netizen that declared they were next in line for the showbiz couples who recently broke up.

Earlier, showbiz couple Moira dela Torre and Jason Hernandez ended their marriage after three years, and Juan Karlos and Maureen Wroblewitz announced their break up after years of being in a relationship.
As for Alcasid and Velasquez, the showbiz couple worked with each other in the GMA Network Sunday Noontime show SOP. From then on, they collaborated through music such as Hanggang Ngayon.
The two made their relationship official after Alcasid ended his first marriage with Michelle van Eimeren in 2007. The couple then got married in 2010.
