Aiai delas Alas is not shocked after director Darryl Yap had a courtesy call with Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte on July 26.
Delas Alas and Yap were declared as “persona non grata” in Quezon City on June 7. The two made a Facebook video where Delas Alas portrayed a character named “Ligaya Delmonte,” a rub on incumbent mayor Joy Belmonte.
They even disrespected Quezon City’s official seal.
In an interview with PEP in July 2022, delas Alas mentioned that she already foresaw that Yap and Belmonte would meet and talk.
“Sa 32 years ko sa entertainment industry, nakita ko na ang lahat. Mangyayari pa lang, na-predict ko na. Nothing shocks me anymore.
“Ang importante, nagkakaintindihan kami ni Direk Darryl,” the comedienne said.
She also said that she does not mind the said issue anymore.
“Saka maraming magaganda ang nangyayari ngayon sa buhay ko kaya dedma na lang.”
Meanwhile, on July 26, Yap posted about his courtesy call with Mayor Joy Belmonte. He is the director of the upcoming film Maid in Malacañang.
The film will show the untold story of the last 72 hours of the Marcoses inside Malacañang Palace during the EDSA 1 revolution. The film will premiere on August 3 in cinemas nationwide.
