The first teaser plug for the popular It’s Showtime segment did not show nor have any mention of its first grand winner.
Netizens were intrigued by It’s Showtime’s hit segment, Miss Q and A, not just because of its surprising return this year, but also its failure to make mention or even show Juliana Parizcova-Segovia, who won the first edition of the drag competition, on the teaser trailer released by the show.
Segovia is notably the first hall-of-famer of the contest, after winning 10 times. He bested several frontrunners of the first season, including Matmat Centino and Lars Pacheco.
Known as Tyrone James Ortega in real life, Parizkova-Segovia is among the contestants who became close to Vice Ganda. During the election, his staunch support for the candidacy of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr and Vice President Sara Duterte, allowed her to be in the social media spotlight, although not necessarily for flattering reasons. Miss Q and A: Kween of the Multibeks took the place of the recently-concluded Showtime Sexybabe as one of two major segments of the Kapamilya noontime show, the other one being the singing competition, Tawag ng Tanghalan.
