A revelation from Kapuso news personality Kim Atienza on Tuesday, July 12 revealed a dream was fulfilled after GMA Network announced that he, along with Pokwang and Rabiya Mateo are the hosts of the newest game show Tiktoclock.
Atienza manifested 12 years ago that he will be working with the comedian on a show after a stint in Wowowin.
“12 years ago, nag co-host kami ni Pokwang. Pinapa-pinch in ako ni Kuya Willie (Revillame) sa Wowowin, lalo pa na kabila noon, and then si Pokwang was a co-host. Then we hit it so well, ang ganda, nasa YouTube iyan eh, kasama pa namin si Chokoleit.

“Then sabi ko, ‘Sana, I wish that I had a show with Pokwang, and I wish that I had a game show or a variety show with Pokwang,'” he shared during the show’s virtual media conference.
“It has always been my wish,” the Kapuso host added, “Etong 12 years na dumaan, and binigay sa’min ng GMA, itong ganitong pagkakataon, natupad. Sabi ko, ‘Wow! Wow! Natupad na.'”
Atienza said that he could not believe that “in God’s time, at ang tiwala sa amin ni Pokwang ng GMA” that they will be hosting Tiktoclock.
“Kasi binigyan kami ng daily show na prime morning.”
The reason why he wished? According to the Kapuso weatherman, he loved her sense of humor.
“Gusto ko ang humor ni Pokwang, gusto ko ‘yung kabilisan ng humor niya, gusto ko ‘yung out of the wall humor niya, and matagal na akong tagahanga ni Pokwang sa kanyang pagpapatawa,” he explained.
Because of the show, Atienza also saw a new side of Pokwang—her motherly love.
“Napaka-nanay nito, napaka-maalaga. Gustung-gustong papakainin ka, kung anong mayroon siya na ibibigay sa iyo.”
Tiktoclock will be launched beginning on July 25, every Monday to Friday, at 11:15 a.m., only on GMA Network.
