The upcoming GMA Network live-action series titled Voltes V: Legacy will premiere in 2023.
On July 11, Director Mark Reyes revealed when the series’s launch on the Kapuso Network.
“Malapit na nating makita ang Voltes V by next year. It will be in 2023.
“The level of expectation is really scary for us, but I guarantee you that GMA spared no expense in producing the series.”
Reyes stated they did their best to bring to life the first serious epic sci-fi TV show despite the setbacks and challenges posed by the pandemic.

On December 31, 2021, Reyes was thrilled to receive a letter of approval from Toei Company, LTD. for the Philippine adaptation of Voltes V.
“One of the best Christmas gifts I received was this kind of letter of support from no less than Voltes V’s home base in Japan, TOEI Company,” he said.
On January 20, Reyes admitted they are currently at 50% production for the much-anticipated series.
“In terms of our shoot, we are 50% done. And then, in post-production, I don’t know how many percent they’ve done, but they’re doing a lot. Or they’ve done a lot already.
“Even post-production is doing all the CGI graphics, they’re not working from the office, where they have the bigger machines like in Riot or even in GMA. They’re working from home with much less advanced or fast machines or computers. That also slows us down,” Reyes stated.
