Yogost Philippines opens its 7th store; franchise owners plan to make their healthy yogurt-rice drink more accessible

The franchise owners shared their excitement about their recent expansion and their plans to bring their product more accessible to Filipinos.

If you’re wondering what yogurt drink mixed with rice, fruits, and other exciting ingredients, tastes like, it is time to visit one of the I am Yogost stores in Metro Manila! Now, it is easier to find one, with their Serendra BGC, having just opened last June 18.

Originated in Shenzhen, China, Yogost Philippines arrived in the country during the pandemic. Brand marketing manager, Justin Lim, shared that their grand launch was initially stalled because of the unexpected arrival of covid-19 in the country. “We were supposed to launch Yogost, the exact same week the lockdown happened”

That said, they manage to open, in the middle of the pandemic. He admitted they struggled to promote the brand at first, but they are now showing encouraging progress, with the pandemic restrictions easing. He said that they are now managing and planning to expand their network of stores, further.

The idea of bringing the Yogost brand to the Philippines, sprung from an unforgettable experience in Australia, when Lim and his partner traveled there in 2019, and chanced upon a store selling a similar yogurt drink. It was a mixture of delight, surprise, and nostalgia, that when they came back to the Philippines, they craved the addicting taste of that yogurt drink. Unfortunately, the brand was nowhere to be found in the country. That prompted Lim to search for the I am Yogost brand, and how he could bring it to the country. And that’s how it started.

“We’re very happy na nagpipick-up na talaga ‘yung mga Yogost drinks natin,” shared Lim, who also happily informed us of their current bestsellers, among which include their signature purple rice drinks, rich series, and their VC (vitamin C) series.

Health-conscious sweet lovers can try Yogost’s fusion of biscoff and yogurt, with their Biscoff of You, and a dozen and more witty-name-bearing exciting flavors.

Asked what their plans are, Lim expressed his hope of making the brand accessible to more Filipinos, especially now that they are currently focused on Metro Manila.

“Sana maka-expand na rin kami, outside of Manila. But right now, we’re focused here in Manila muna. Marami pa ring places na hindi pa available ‘yung Yogost” he said, noting that it may take a while before they want to make their products as fresh and healthy as possible.

You can now indulge in your yogurt and purple rice drink (and other flavors) craving by visiting one of their Metro Manila stores: SM San Lazaro – Upper Ground Floor; SM North Edsa – 2nd Floor, North Towers; Ayala Manila Bay – 3/F Korea Town; Greenhills Promenade – G/F Food Court; Kapitolyo Delivery Hub – #7 San Clemente St.; Alabang Town Center – 2nd Level, Expansion Wing.
