On September 1, artist Axel Torres admitted that he used to investigate his girlfriend.
At the media conference for An/Na with the press, including LionhearTV, Torres said he related to his investigator character in the upcoming series because he used to look into his girlfriend’s connections whenever he had a hunch.
“Siguro kung makaka-relate ako sa character ko, siguro oo, investigator ako doon, and naging investigator ako in real life. Kasi, ‘yung girlfriend mo di ba? May hinala ka, so magiging imbestigador ka talaga.
“‘Yung lahat parang gusto mong ma-ano, parang magbubuo ka ng puzzle na minsan hindi magtutugma ‘yung ano, so magiging investigator ka talaga, as in bawat galaw, bawat oras alam mo, so ayun nakaka-relate naman ‘yung character ko dito.”
He then talked about working with director Joey Reyes, describing it as fast and easy.
“Tapos working with Direk sobrang saya and sobrang bilis actually, and sobrang natutuwa ako dahil naka-work ko si Direk, kaya nag-chichikahan kami bago pa lang mag-start ‘yung movie, kasi nga ang tagal ko ng kilala si Direk Joey, tapos first time namin na magkatrabaho. Tapos siyempre sobrang happy ako na nakita ko na siya in person at tsaka maka-work.”
He also recounted experiencing difficulties pronouncing a word while they were filming the series.

“Tapos noong eksena namin na ‘yun, bago ko sabihin ‘yun gumanon ako ng kaunti para mabasa ‘yun tapos lumapit ako sa kanya, tapos binasa ko ‘yun noong last eksena namin na ‘yun. Kasi, napansin ‘yun ni Kuya Rolly, sabi niya, ‘gumanon ka pa talaga ha!’ Sabi ko, ‘hindi naman.’ So doon lang naman ako nahirapan, pero the rest masaya and mabilis lang.”
Axel Torres joins the cast of the upcoming Vivamax series, An/Na, alongside Viva artists Janelle Tee, Rob Guinto, Migs Almendras, Nico Locco, Fabio Ide, Micaela Raz, Greg Hawkins, CJ Jaravata, Azi Acosta, and Guji Laranzana.
