Kokoy de Santos and Angel Guardian had a slip about their relationship status on August 27, admitting that they had become special friends during their two-month stay in South Korea.
Before leaving for South Korea, de Santos and Guardian were teased that they may develop a romantic relationship.
The former said, “Siyempre, wala namang imposible, di ba? I mean… alam ko, maraming nagkakagusto.”
Guardian previously refused to answer the question.
“Tulad po ni Buboy, busog po ako and happy po ako. Open answer yun, ha? Hindi ako nag-no, hindi ako nag-yes.”
Months later, during Running Man Philippines‘ media conference at Robinsons Manila Midtown Atrium, they were asked if anything happened during their stay in South Korea, particularly if de Santos made some move to Guardian.
“Madalas kaming naliligaw, hahahaha,” he responded. “Madalas kaming naliligaw. Kaso kapag matagal, nililigaw ko na rin si Angel. Nililigaw ko para masu- hahaha!”
De Santos added, “Wala naman, love ko lang talaga itong si Angel.”
Meanwhile, Guardian shared the same feeling as her co-star, confessing that she “loves” him.
“As a special friend,” she simply answered.
Running Man Philippines will begin airing on September 3.
