SB19 Pablo and Justin admitted feeling nervous and anxious about performing for foreign fans at the media conference for the WYAT Tour with the press, including LionhearTV, on September 13, 2022.

SB19 Justin explained that their group’s anxiety comes from the different standards of foreign fans.

“Siguro po siyempre, we’re very nervous ngayon na especially, we’re trying to perform in front of the foreigners po, or the international fans. Siyempre, naisip namin, iba ‘yung– parang iba ‘yung judgement nila, ‘yung standards nila noong sa ibang bansa.

“Kasi dito sa Philippines, maraming beses na kaming nag-perform so we’re very–although kinakabahan pa rin, mayroon kaming confidence na nakapag-prepare kami, but then if we go to the international scene, even though how much we prepare, we never experience performing po, especially sa U.S.”

He then cited their intense training and preparation for their WYAT World Tour.

“So ‘yun po nakakakaba na wala kaming idea kung paano kami tatanggapin ng tao doon. Because of that din naman, we’re working hard po and doon sa process ng pagpa-practice namin ng maigi, pagte-training namin, mas na-excite kami mag-perform kasi po nakita namin ‘yung improvement sa mga ginagawa namin ngayon. So ‘yun po magkahalong kaba and excitement.”

SB19 Pablo agreed with Justin, noting that their anxiety signified their desire to improve themselves as performers.

“Honestly, I’m really, really nervous for this world tour and kung nervous ka, di ba nga sabi nila, kapag kinakabahan ka, that just means na mahal na mahal mo talaga ‘yung ginagawa mo kasi you want to do better.”

He then highlighted how they value first impressions for their international fans.

“And naniniwala din ako sa ‘first impressions lasts.’ So gusto namin, kapag pinakita namin ‘yung talento ng Pinoy sa mga foreigners, talagang mag-leave ng impression sa kanila na ito talaga ang mga Pinoy, mahusay, talented. So talagang pinag-iigihan po talaga namin ‘yung pagte-training namin ng sa ganon maganda po ‘yung impression na maibigay po natin sa mga foreigner fans po natin.”

SB19 members Pablo, Justin, Ken, Josh, and Stell, perform for their international fans via their WYAT Tour, coming from their recent single, WYAT (Where You At).

WYAT Tour schedule includes Araneta Coliseum (September 17), Waterfront Hotel and Casino, Cebu (October 1), SMX Clark (October 8), SMX Davao (October 15), Dubai World Trade Center (October 29), Palladium Times Square, New York (November 5), Avalon Hollywood, Los Angeles (November 12), and The Coliseum Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore (November 27).
