On November 14, ABS-CBN’s primetime block will debut the upcoming action drama with an all-star cast.
Replacing the highly successful, KathNiel-starrer, 2 Good 2 Be True, Richard Gutierrez’s hotly-anticipated primetime comeback, is just a few weeks away from debuting. Produced by the Kapamilya entertainment unit, Star Creatives Television, ‘The Iron Heart’, officially premieres on Primetime Bida on November 14.
Several cast members, including Maja Salvador, Jake Cuenca, Albert Martinez, and Roi Vinzon, were revealed to be part of the series, late last month when taping commenced in the province of Cebu.
Four years in the making, ‘The Iron Heart’ finally arrives, with a promise of gritty action and intense drama. It looks like the series is poised to fill the void left by the seven-year-long Coco Martin-headliner, on Kapamilya primetime.
The Iron Heart serves as Gutierrez’s third Kapamilya series, after La Luna Sangre (2017), and FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano (2015). This brand new project marks his first solo-starrer as a Kapamilya contract star.
The series’ ensemble cast also includes Jeric Raval, Dimples Romana, Victor Silayan, Baron Geisler, Diether Ocampo, Karina Bautista, Kyle Echarri, Pepe Herrera, Sofia Andres, Roi Vinzon, and Sue Ramirez. It is expected to air on both A2Z and TV5, as well as on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, and iWantTFC.
