Ruru Madrid maintains that he does not let negative comments get to him

At the media conference for the Season Finale of ‘Lolong’ with the press, including LionhearTV, on September 27, Kapuso star Ruru Madrid maintained that he does not let negative comments get to him.

Madrid said he prefers to focus on positive feedback rather than dwelling on criticisms.

He recounted the struggles he experienced amid the pandemic, especially with the postponement of his Kapuso project.

But ngayon unti-unti ng bumabalik sa normal at the same time naipapalabas na ‘yung Lolong.

“Sa totoo lang, I would say last year habang shinoshoot namin ‘tong Lolong, I felt that was my worst year. That was my lowest point na parang dinoubt ko ‘yung sarili ko. Pakiramdam ko, hindi ako deserving for this project dahil nga sa mga aberya nangyari. Pakiramdam ko minamalas ako.”

He also talked about his realization amid his ‘Lolong’ journey.

He then thanked the fans of the Kapuso action-adventure series for continuously supporting the series.

As for the discussion about the possible Season 2 of ‘Lolong,’ Madrid hinted that they are currently preparing for it.

‘Lolong’ stars Ruru Madrid alongside Arra San Agustin, Shaira Diaz, and Paul Salas.

The cast includes Christopher de Leon, Jean Garcia, Bembol Roco, Malou de Guzman, Rochelle Pangilinan, Marco Alcaraz, Mikoy Morales, Maui Taylor, Ian De Leon, and Alma Concepcion.

Catch Lolong’s Season 1 Finale via GMA Telebabad on September 30.
