Ogie Diaz has this advice for Marco Alcaraz after the latter got bashed for being out of tune while serenading the ladies in a beauty pageant.
On December 2, Marco Alcaraz got invited to sing a song for the beauty pageant Bb. Urdaneta City 2022 in Pangasinan.
The actor sang the song Ngiti while the judges were deliberating the scores.
His song rendition went viral online after netizens made fun of his voice for being out of tune. Some netizens defended him and said that he was [simply] drunk during his performance.
In Ogie Diaz’s YouTube update on December 13, he called out Alcaraz, and said that Alcaraz should carefully choose the projects he accepts.
“Siyempre may mga ebidensya. May mga resibo na ‘yan. Kung napakahusay naman ng tinig ni Marco Alcaraz, malamang ‘yan maba-viral ‘yan. Maba-viral lalo kapag palpak ang boses, sintunado.
“Magandang lesson ito para sa mga actors natin na tumatanggap ng raket. Make sure lang na ‘pag kakanta kayo ng solo, ‘wag na kayong manghaharana. Lalo na ‘yung mga babae. Gusto nila naririnig magagandang tinig. Mas gusto nila singer talaga hindi yung actor na acting ang kayang gawin. May resibo nga… next time ba kukunin ulit siya matapos mapanood ‘yan…” he pointed out.
Diaz then hoped the actor was drunk during his performance so he still get invited to serenade other candidates.
“Sana na nga lang lasing si Marco nun, para may chance pa na [kunin] siya ulit.”
