After dominating the free-to-air networks in the country in the absence of ABS-CBN, GMA Network is set to launch its newest digital channel, Pinoy Hits, which looks like their answer to the successful Kapamilya throwback channel, Jeepney TV.
Just like Jeepney TV, Pinoy Hits also promises to treat viewers to classic Pinoy drama and comedy shows previously aired on the Kapuso network.
In a post on the Hola Facebook page, the Pinoy Hits channel is set to start airing on January 2, 2023, as part of the growing digital channel line-up of the Kapuso network.
Pinoy Hits will be available through any digital box or dongle receiver, such as GMA Affordabox and GMA Now.
Viewers are advised to re-scan their digital boxes and wait for the pilot broadcast of Kapuso’s brand-new digital channel in January 2023.
