According to reports, the Kapamilya action-fantasy series Mars Ravelo’s Darna is nearing its finale, with its last three weeks starting January 9.
The series starring Jane De Leon would end on January 27, with rumors pointing to Coco Martin’s FPJ’s Batang Quiapo replacing it on the Kapamilya Primetime slot.
Speculations claimed that the adaptation of the 1986 Fernando Poe Jr film would premiere on January 30.
Martin would co-star with the Flower of Evil actress and new Kapamilya star Lovi Poe.
However, the cast and crew have yet to start production. Aside from that, no official announcements yet, confirming the premiere date of the highly anticipated action series.
Two weeks ago, ABS-CBN Entertainment uploaded a teaser for the Batang Quiapo.
Martin’s previously held Darna’s timeslot with the almost-seven-years Kapamilya action-drama series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
As for Dirty Linen, reports confirm that the revenge series premieres on January 23 with no official timeslot yet.
As for Darna, while the series is still airing, the Kapamilya action series starring De Leon, Joshua Garcia, and Janella Salvador will premiere on one of Indonesia’s leading free-TV companies, ANTV, in 2023.
