ABS-CBN network’s chief operating officer for broadcast Cory Vidanes left an emotional message for Vice Ganda. The former lauded the latter’s loyalty.
On February 15, Vidanes became emotional as she read her letter to the It’s Showtime host. Vice Gianda inked a brand-new contract with the Kapamilya Network.
Vidanes expressed, “With or without a contract, you stood with us — even in our most difficult times. Thank you for staying optimistic and strong, for always believing that we would surpass our challenges together and continue serving the Filipinos despite all odds.”
The COO continued, “Binigyan mo ng lakas ang lahat ng ating mga Kapamilya sa gitna ng lahat ng ating pagsubok. Hinding-hindi ka bumitaw. Nagtiwala ka sa amin. Nagtiwala ka sa atin at sa Diyos na gagabay sa ating lahat.”
Vidanes said she is thankful to Vice Ganda for staying despite the crisis the network has experienced.
Vidanes concluded, “Salamat sa pagyakap sa responsibilidad nating lahat sa ating manonood at sa patuloy mong pagserbisyo kasama namin. You have been a source of strength, relief and laughter in the midst of all the stress and pressure.”
In the past five years, Vice Ganda’s shows and movies have been consistent on the Kapamilya network.
Aside from ‘It’s Showtime’, Vice Ganda is also the host of a community singing game show ‘Everybody, Sing’.
