Comedian-actor, host, and talent manager Ogie Diaz breaks his silence on Willie Revillame’s recent threat to expose his celebrity critics, whom he called ingrates.
In a Facebook post on Wednesday, February 8, Diaz chastised the Wowowin host for upbraiding several unnamed celebrities for the assistance he has given them.
“Kayo ang may utang na loob sa akin!” Sabeeee???!!!!” Diaz exclaimed.
Diaz then said he hoped that Revillame would feel better following his tirade against those who, in his opinion, had previously sought his assistance. He also expressed his wish for Revillame’s happiness and the general improvement of his mental state.
“Sana, pagkatapos niyang manumbat ng mga naitulong at nagawa niya sa kapwa, gumaan ang pakiramdam niya. Nabunutan na siya ng tinik. ‘Yung wala siyang pinagsisisihan at pinaninindigan niya kasi para sa kanya, kailangan na niyang manumbat.

In the same post, Diaz then admitted that he’s one of those unnamed people castigated by Revillame in his TV outburst.
“Oh, by the way. ‘Yung 50k cheque noon, habang ibinibigay niya sa akin ay nakikita ng mga tao sa dressing room niya. Hiyang-hiya man ako eh tinanggap ko pa din.
The 50 thousand went to the Kapuso Foundation as a donation to help breast cancer patients, Diaz added.
“Tapos, idiniretso ko din sa Kasuso Foundation. Naisip ko, mas kailangan ng mga breast cancer patients na itinataguyod namin ang pera kesa kailangan ko. Thank you, ha? Malaking tulong ‘yon.”
In conclusion, Diaz pointed out that if you were able to help someone, it was not for you to demand gratitude because if you did it genuinely from the heart, you would forget about it along the way. He also added that it’s not in his nature to count the help he has given to other people. He won’t go against Revillame for the things he has done for him.
“Wala. Hindi ko ugaling manguwenta. Hindi ko ugaling manumbat. Pag ginawa mo nang kusang loob at bukal sa puso ang isang bagay, nakakalimutan mo ‘yon as time goes by. Kasi nga, naturalesa mo ang magbigay at maging mabuti sa kapwa.
“Alangan namang isa-isahin ko sa kanya ang pagtatanggol ko sa kanya noon eh ginawa ko naman yon nang kusang loob at deserve naman niyang maipagtanggol. ‘Yun ba, tatapatan ko pa ba ‘yon ng presyo? Hindi na.”
Revillame made scathing remarks against his celebrity critics during the live episode of his variety show, Wowowin, on February 7. He didn’t mince words by castigating unnamed celebrities, whom he said owed him gratitude.
