The Kapamilya artist Kobie Brown recounts on March 22, how he got called out by a director on the set while working on one of his previous projects.
At the set visit for Teen Clash in Quezon City, Brown admitted he encountered challenges with his first acting project after exiting the Pinoy Big Brother house.
“Oo dati, basta po parang– okay I think, so this happened sa isang project, I think sobrang late na at nakalimutan ko ‘yung mga blockings ko, ‘yung mga lines ko. Kasi bago ako, bago ako sa acting, sa industry and I remember the director coming in and I got called out because it was super late na.”
He then noted that his experience made him commit to improving himself with his future projects.
“I was getting pressured, and we we’re running out of time na, parang cut off namin ay 2:30, and I felt like– kasi sobrang over thinker ako talaga. Especially before, and I felt like I was wasting everyone’s time, but after that, I made sure na gagalingan ko sa next role ko.”
He then clarified that he learned from the director he worked with in his previous project.
“And ever since I worked with that director, and I love him so much, si Direk Manny, I love you talaga. I learned so much from that guy, and kahit super serious siya, he’s [an amazing] director– and he knows what he wants. So ayun maraming salamat direk Manny, I learned so much.”
Brown worked with the director Manny Palo in the series Love in 40 Days (2022).
As for his latest series, Brown joins Teen Clash, starring Jayda Avanzado, Aljon Mendoza, and Markus Paterson.
The cast also features Bianca de Vera, Zach Castañeda, Fana, Luke Alford, Andi Abaya, Ralph Malibunas, and Gail Banawis.
