On April 12, Kapamilya star Anji Salvacion highlighted her new image through the launch of her latest single under Tarsier Records, Paraiso.
At the media conference for Paraiso, which LionhearTV covered, Salvacion noted that her latest single intended to pave the way for her new daring, jaunty, and immaculate image.
“So this track will pave the way for a new Anji. So daring, new, jaunty, and immaculate. So kasi, I like to explore and experimenting with a different sound. And I believe that Paraiso is the perfect song to introduce the new me.”
She then highlighted how her music matures with her as she explores and experiments with her sound.
“I like exploring different sounds and different music, but as I’m growing din sa industry–as I’m growing, I believe that I’m slowly finding the perfect sound for me that will resonate–that will resonate with me as an artist din. So music is maturing alongside with me.”
She hinted at her plans following her new song release.
“I would say that I don’t really want to spoil everything, but I just wanted to say na malalaman ninyo sa takdang panahon, as Kuya always said, may takdang panahon.
“I’m definitely planning– that’s all I can say– I don’t want to spoil anything.”
Aside from that, Salvacion recounted her journey after exiting the Pinoy Big Brother house.
“Unti-unti na nga siyang natupad, unang-una, biglang na-release ko ‘yung song ko na Dalampasigan, then sobrang blessed ko na they offered me to do a concert, digital concert, I was so grateful for that. And ngayon naman natupad nanaman, paunti-unti, ‘yung magkaroon ng teleserye. To be an actress, to be given the chance, the opportunity to act with like great, great, great people, great actors, great talents.”
She then voiced her dream of getting international recognition with Paraiso.
“Kung sasabihin kung ano pang dream ang gusto kong matupad, is na-marecognize internationally at ito na ‘yung first step na matupad ‘yun with Tarsier ang makapag-produce ng song naire-release internationally.”
Her song, Paraiso is a vibrant and upbeat track and Salvacion’s first project under Tarsier Records.
The song intends to boost their listeners’ self-esteem and embrace their version of paradise.
US-based producer, Exale produced The Tarsier Records single with the composition from US-based singer-songwriter Annie Lux.
Paraiso streams starting Friday, April 14, on various digital music platforms.
