Former Kapamilya host Karla Estrada confirmed the return of the hit tabloid talk show, Face 2 Face, on TV5.
In an Instagram post on Friday, March 31, Estrada invited her followers to watch the return of Face 2 Face on TV5 starting May 1 at 11 a.m.
“May magbabalik! Ang paborito nating OG TV5 program, malapit na nating muling mapanood!
Makisawsaw na sa #Face2Face, simula May 1, Lunes hanggang Biyernes, 11AM sa #LunchtimeSayaTV5!“
Her post also confirmed online reports about TV5’s cancellation of the pre-noontime show Tropang LOL, which currently airs at 11 a.m.
While there’s still no official statement from the show’s management, Ogie Diaz shared on his YouTube show Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update on March 23 that Tropang LOL will have its last taping day on March 29, and its final episode will air on April 29.
“Ang balita nga natin ay ito, magpapaalam na sa ere ang Lunch Out Loud. Ang LOL ay magba-baboo na sa ere. Basta may nagchika lamang sa atin na ang last day of taping nila ay March 29 so ang last airing ng kanilang tinake ay magtatapos sa April 29. Kung tama ang ibinalita sa atin,” Ogie said.
Face 2 Face first aired on TV5 in 2010. Hosted by ‘Tyang ng Bayan’ Amy Perez, the show features in-person confrontations between two conflicting parties. The show also included the ‘trio tagapayo,’ who act as counselors for the two parties to help them resolve their issues.
