A netizen and fan of Kapamilya star Barbie Imperial flexed his academic award after being called “patal” or “bobo” on social media.
On Monday, March 27, Imperial posted an invitation on her Facebook page for the opening of Bigg’s restaurant in Camalig, Albay.
In the post, the Kapamilya celebrity wrote, “Nem ilingan kita saaga sa Bigg’s Camalig, 1 pm ah. (Magkita-kita tayo bukas sa Bigg’s Camalig, 1 PM, ah).”

Despite specifying the time of her visit, netizen Mark Rainier Cavite still asked Imperial in the comment section what time she would be there.
“Unung oras? (Anong oras?)” Cavite asked.
Imperial then replied, “Dae ka na magduman ta patal ka basa basa man sa tabi. (Huwag ka na pumunta, bobo ka, basa-basa din).”
Meanwhile, according to Mark Renier’s Facebook post on Friday, March 31, instead of commenting further on social media, Cavite opted to send a photo of himself holding his honor certificate to a local news outlet in Bicol.
The netizen also clarified in his message that he was not offended by Imperial’s response; instead, he felt lucky after being noticed by his idol.
Cavite also shared that Imperial approached him after the post got viral on social media.
The netizen shared screenshots of the Kapamilya young star’s message asking for an apology for the bashing he’s getting right now.
