On March 22, Kapamilya artist Ralph Malibunas recalled being a “cause of delay” to his previous project.

At the set visit for Teen Clash in Quezon City, Malibunas admitted that he got called out by director Ted Boborol.

He then detailed how the feeling of pressure overwhelmed him during one of their sequences in the Kapamilya film, Connected.

“Parang nahihiya na po talaga ako sa mga nag-iilaw, sa camera man, kahit hindi po nila sabihin or pati kay Direk din, parang mata niya parang, ‘Tapusin na natin ‘to, ano ba? Bakit hindi pa natin ‘to tapusin?’ So doon ko naramdaman talaga, doon ko naramdaman ‘yung pressure and sobrang kaba kasi siyempre ayaw ko din maging cause of delay kasi siyempre lahat pagod na. Gusto ko ng gawin lahat.”

He noted what he learned through his experience about remaining calm and focused.

Kaya naman, Direk Ted, thank you. Sana proud ka sa akin.”

He then clarified that Boborol understood that it was his first major project.

Parang, ‘Ano ba? pina–.’ Pero sobrang naintindihan naman po ni Direk Ted, kasi ‘yun nga po first timer, and first acting project ko po.”

As for his latest series, Teen Clash stars Jayda Avanzado, Aljon Mendoza, and Markus Paterson.

The cast also features Bianca de Vera, Zach Castañeda, Fana, Luke Alford, Andi Abaya, Kobie Brown, Malibunas, and Gail Banawis.

Directed by Gino Santos and produced by Blacksheep, catch every episode of Teen Clash on iWantTFC every Friday at 8 pm.
