In an interview on May 11, Awra Briguela opened up about his exciting new role as a game show host on TV5’s Emojination and shared insights into his experience working with his manager and mentor Vice Ganda.
According to the young star, Vice Ganda has taken on the role of his manager, providing guidance and support as he navigates this new endeavor.
“Manager ko na po siya, kaya sa kanya ko po natanggap yung balita na may game show po akong ih-host,” Awra revealed.
Briguela’s enthusiasm for his collaboration with Maja Salvador is visible during the interview, and when asked about his eagerness to take on this hosting role, he couldn’t contain his excitement.
“Ako yung pinaka-on the go talaga nung inoffer sa akin to. Super go talaga ko nung inoffer sa akin ‘to,” he expressed.
This new opportunity marks his first foray into hosting, and he is determined to make the most of it.
“Kasi first time ko po talaga mag-hosting, yung babasahin mo sa nasa proctor, kaya mas comfortable po talaga ako na kabisado ko na yung script ko kasi nasanay ako sa taping.”
However, to his surprise, once the show began, he found himself effortlessly flowing with the spontaneity of the moment.
Apart from the professional aspects of this new venture, Briguela also expressed his gratitude for the love and care he receives from Maja Salvador.
He gushed, “Sobrang swerte ko kasi alagang-alaga ako ni Ate, parang may anak talaga siya.”
He even divulged that he was currently wearing Versace heels borrowed from Salvador, highlighting the personal bond they share.
From fashion choices to grooming, Salvador’s attention to detail and affectionate nature made a lasting impact on him. Their connection dates back to their days on the hit TV series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, and their relationship has only grown stronger over time.
