Kapamilya noontime show, It’s Showtime, continues to prove its newfound dominance in the noontime ratings game.
According to the most recent available rating data from the Nielsen NUTAM People survey, It’s Showtime scored another win against Eat Bulaga!
On Tuesday, June 13, It’s Showtime obtained a rating of 3.9 percent, 0.2 percent higher than the revamped show’s 3.7 percent. With the win, the Kapamilya noontime show occupied the14th spot overall while Eat Bulaga! sits on the 15th.
The Tuesday win was the second time It’s Showtime has surpassed its archrival.
On Friday, June 9, the Kapamilya noontime show recorded its first win against Eat Bulaga! since the ABS-CBN shutdown. It’s Showtime posted a rating of 3.7 percent, 0.4 percent higher than that of Eat Bulaga! which posted a rating of 3.3 percent.
It seems like the rebranding of the 44-year-old show has really shaken up the noontime ratings race. Another rumble can be expected once the new noontime show top-billed by Tito, Vic, and Joey starts airing on TV5.
