On July 24, Viva artist Christine Bermas talked about giving up her virginity to her beau Nico Locco.
At the media conference for the Vivamax movie ‘Manyak,’ which LionhearTV covered, Bermas remarked that losing her virginity to someone she loves is part of her maturity.
“Hindi ko naman binabawi, I just want to say it ng maayos lang. Aaminin ko na rin na yes, pero hindi naman forever na bata tayo right? Dumadaan tayo sa pagma-mature.
“At least, na-virginan na din ako finally.”
Locco then acknowledged that Bermas’ virginity is sacred and assured her that he’s serious about getting into a relationship with the Vivamax star.
“In all seriousness, Christine– alam ko na ako ang first boyfriend niya. Siyempre, it’s sacred–a girl’s virginity is sacred, eh. Iba talaga sa lalaki compared to women. So, alam ko going into the relationship na importante talaga. And if playtime lang, hindi ko gagawin ‘yan sa kaniya. Kasi, if it’s playtime, it’s really just a one-night stand or a few times with her di ba?
“And ayaw ko gawin ‘yan sa kaniya kasi again, a virginity to a woman is very sacred and ‘yung first time nila, they would always remember that, for the rest of their lives. ‘Yung mga in between guys, mga plain guys, wala ‘yan. Pero ‘yung first guy, sa isang babae, importante talaga.”
Aside from taking the next step in their relationship, Bermas also revealed that she has already met Locco’s parents and family.
“Actually, nasa Canada kami right now, and I’ve met his parents before, ‘yung Mom and Dad niya. Sa Philippines po twice. And then, now, I got the chance to meet the whole family here in Canada and kind of a vacation for the both of us.”

Locco and Bermas have been in a relationship for 17 months, and they met while promoting their films, ‘Love at the End of the World’ and ‘Siklo.’
As for their first film together as a couple, Locco and Bermas star in the Vivamax film ‘Manyak’ with Sheree and Joko Diaz.
Under the direction of Carlo Alvarez, ‘Manyak’ streams on August 4 via the Vivamax streaming platform.
