Kapuso Katrina Halili opened up about her decision to lessen her workload to focus on her daughter, Katrence.
In her interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Katrina revealed that this was also the reason why she goes back to El Nido, Palawan whenever she has no work in Manila.
She explained, “Actually, after pandemic po na-realize ko na wala akong time sa anak ko simula nung ipinanganak ko siya dahil after ng show, dire-diretso. ‘Tapos, nine na siya and meron po siyang ASD- autism spectrum disorder. So, pina-check ko siya sa doctor, sabi kailangan ko na siya tutukan hanggang mag-12 kasi baka lumala. Pero nasa mild lang naman po siya.”
The actress also asked GMA Network to allow her to reduce her workload to have more time for Katrence.
She said, “So, nag-decide ako na mag-cut ng work, magpaalam sa GMA na one soap na lang a year, ganiyan, para makatutok ako sa anak ko.”
Katrina gave birth to her daughter with OPM singer Kris Lawrence in September 2012.
Meanwhile, Boy Abunda asked Katrina if she wants to have another baby. The celebrity mom immediately responded, “Puro birds ako ngayon, birds ‘yung alaga ko.” She continued, “Ayaw ko na magka-baby, hindi ko kaya mahirap. Saludo na lang ako sa maraming baby.”
