The talented young artist Lizzie Aguinaldo has burst onto the music scene with her captivating debut single ‘Baka Pwede Na.’
At the tender age of 15, this sweet and beautiful Caviteña has already begun her journey to establish herself as a young singer, signing with Star Music as its newest recording artist.
During an exclusive interview on June 3, she opened up about the creation process her debut single went through.
When asked about the recording process, Lizzie revealed, “The song was introduced to me shortly after namin mag-meet ni Direk, sobrang bilis po ni Direk magsulat so nagulat po talaga ako. Mga weeks after po sinabi na magrerecord nung pinakita po sakin yung lyrics, I thought na sad po siya, so nung nagrerecord po ako na-overwhelm po ako kasi dati nakanta lang ako sa cr.”
Reflecting on her experience recording her first single, Lizzie expressed her disbelief, saying “When I was recording my first single, it was very unbelievable po for me. Considering that every event that is happening to me was just a dream. I felt overwhelmed with the thought and realization na I was able to achieve it.”
With regard to the song’s classification as a single or part of an album, Lizzie clarified, “Single po siya. It tells about yung feeling na may gusto ka po sa isang tao na eto na yun, baka ito na yung right time natin together.”
When speaking about her first musical offering, Lizzie expressed her hopes for the song, saying, “It’s the song that I hope people would jam with whenever may mood po sila na kinikilig or moment po na naaalala po yung crush po nila, especially po sa generation ko.”
Lizzie was also asked about the challenges she encountered in bringing out specific feelings while singing the song. She admitted, “Of course po, at first nahirapan po ako. Pero dinadaan ko na lang po sa mga childhood crushes ko po at yung mga delusions ko po sa mga Kpop Idols.”
‘Baka Pwede Na’ has swiftly become a favorite among radio listeners nationwide. It is available for download and streaming on various online music platforms.
