On July 2, Pop Royalty Sarah Geronimo discussed her upcoming concert collaboration with OPM singer Bamboo.
At the media event for ‘Sarah G Under The Sun,’ Geronimo explained that her concert with Bamboo got conceptualized before the pandemic.
“Alam ninyo po sobra akong excited and thankful kay Coach Bamboo kasi actually ito pong concert collaboration po namin, ano na ‘to eh, pre-pandemic pa po ‘to eh. And sabi ko bakit hindi kaya ako binabalikan ni Coach, baka ayaw na niya ko kasama mag-concert.”
She then expressed excitement for their upcoming concert on July 7 at the Araneta Coliseum.
“But siyempre, perfect timing pa din. Siyempre in God’s time. So it’s finally happening. I’m very, very excited for you to see Coach Bamboo perform live. He is amazing, all the things, grabe. Sobrang nakaka-amaze po. On July 7 sana po ay makapunta po kayo sa Araneta Coliseum.”
Matteo Guidicelli, Geronimo’s husband, then interjected, citing how their company G Productions worked with Viva in producing their upcoming concert.
“Then afterward, we took it seriously. And ‘yun G Productions is here. We’re co-producing projects with Viva, of course with my management, for two years-three years. So Sarah’s music videos, concerts, this coming July 7, sana makapunta kayo sa Araneta Coliseum.”
Geronimo and Bamboo perform at the Sarah G X Bamboo 2023 happening this July 7 at the Araneta Coliseum.
