As former rival networks, ABS-CBN and GMA Network, have become increasingly collaborative in doing projects, doors have undeniably swung open, as well, for celebrities whom most thought, would never work together in a same project.
Network exclusivity previously restricted artists from accepting projects, other than those offered by their home networks. But with ABS-CBN now being one of GMA Network blocktime partners and content providers, that seemingly impenetrable wall between networks, is now gone.
It no longer surprises television viewers to see Kapuso stars appearing on It’s Showtime. But what a delight, when it was the seasoned Kapuso comedian, Michael V a.k.a. Bitoy’s turn to guest on the well-loved Kapamilya noon time show! Not to mention, Bitoy and Vice used to be noontime rivals when the former was still on Eat Bulaga, such a moment was definitely historic.
Such a change in local television landscape seems to have convinced Bitoy, that future collaborations with Vice Ganda, is highly possible. He teased his fans with that possibility, this morning, August 21, via a post on his socials.
“Recently, tuwing nagco-cross ang paths namin ni Vice Ganda, isa lang ang pumapasok sa isip ko: ‘possibilities’,” he captioned his post.
“In a time na puwede, ano sa palagay niyo ang puwede pang mangyari?” he asked, seemingly telling his followers that future big collaborations are waiting.
An MMFF Movie? The much-awaited Bubble Gang guesting of Vice Ganda? A talk show featuring the two comedians on GTV? Infinite possibilities! Whatever that is, another history will surely be made, once the two ultra-talented comedians finally worked together in a big movie or TV project!
