On August 24, actress Jennica Garcia revealed she already gave a second chance to her estranged husband, Alwyn Uytingco.
At the ‘Queen White’ media event at the Romulo Cafe in Quezon City, which LionhearTV covered, Garcia said that she already gave her all for Uytingco when giving her estranged husband ‘second chances.’
“Pero ‘yung second chance po kay Alwyn, nabigay ko na po ‘yun sa kaniya. Nabigay ko na ‘yun sa kaniya at dumating lang talaga sa point na wala na po akong kayang ibigay. So ayun po.”
When asked about marriage, Garcia remarked she doesn’t see herself getting into wedlock anytime soon.
“I do of course, I do believe in marriage. But to be honest, it’s something that I do not see myself doing it again. Sa ngayon. Hindi rin po natin alam, baka magbago sa susunod, pero sa ngayon po, hindi ko po talaga, ma-imagine.”
She cited her apprehensions about trusting another partner following her split with Uytingco.
“Kasi po, kapag iniisip ko, ‘yung marriage, parang magtitiwala ulit ako ng buong-buo sa isang tao. Ibibigay ko ulit ‘yung sarili ko, Hindi ko po kasi alam kung kaya ko pa pong i-survive ‘yung next blow of heartbreak.”
Garcia then acknowledged that she would still need time to heal, adding her advocacy of promoting mental health to her fellow moms.
“Maybe because I still need a lot of healing, a lot of sessions–therapy. Pasensya na po– ayaw ko po kasing masyadong pagandahin na I got it all together, and I want my fellow moms to also to know na kapag pinapanood nila ako, na it’s okay to get help and it’s important you know that you need help.”
The former couple tied the knot in 2014 but separated in May 2021. Months after their revelation, Garcia and Uytingco confirmed they were working things out in their marriage.
However, during the event, Garcia confirmed that she and Uytingco are currently processing the annulment of their marriage after their failed efforts to reconcile.
As for Garcia’s latest endorsement, Queen White CEO Sarah Vidi Payni-Mercado introduced the actress as their newest endorser for the skincare brand and their products.
Queen White is known for their dedication to using effective ingredients and providing result-oriented formulations, offering a broad collection of skincare products.
