On September 28, Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu commented on Movie and Television Review and Classification Board’s (MTRCB) decision to deny the motions for reconsideration from ABS-CBN and GMA Network on the suspension order filed against ‘It’s Showtime.’
At the media event for her endorsement of Lifestrong’s Hairfix, which LionhearTV covered, Chiu cited how the noontime show stood the test of time with their 13 years on the air.
“Di, lahat naman ng problema nakakaya namin. Lalo na ang ‘It’s Showtime.’ 13 years na sila as a noontime show and wala naman problema na hindi nakakayanan. Dahil na-test of time na rin kaming lahat.”
She also expressed gratitude to the audience and maintained their support for them and their noontime show.
“Actually ang buong– lahat naman tayo nate-test naman tayo ng time and then may mga natutunan naman tayo and nilo-look forward natin ‘yun and we’re just very grateful na ang daming sumusuporta sa ‘It’s Showtime’ and ‘yun po ‘yung mahalaga.”
On a lighter note, she discussed what she looks forward to at the ABS-CBN Ball this September 30.
“Siguro siyempre kasi 2019 ‘yung last na ABS-CBN Ball. And then supposedly last year dapat meron kaso di natuloy. So this time, sobrang naging ano talaga, sobrang nilo-look forward ko talaga dahil ito ‘yung time na iba ‘yung itsura namin, pinaghandaan namin. Hindi kami naka-role as actors, actress, singers, or dancers. We’re just celebrating on how grateful we are na nandito pa rin kami bilang isang Kapamilya.”

Earlier, MTRCB denied ABS-CBN and GMA Network’s motion for reconsideration regarding the suspension order filed against ‘It’s Showtime.’
As for Chiu’s endorsement, the Kapamilya actress promotes the Lifestrong‘s Hairfix Multiplex Serum Shampoo and Conditioner products available at Watsons and SM Department stores.
