During the finale press conference of ‘Unbreak My Heart’ on Friday (October 13), Kapuso Executive Annette Gozon-Valdes was asked about her thoughts on their program that replaced ‘It’s Showtime’ after it received a 12-day suspension from the MTRCB.
The replacement show, titled ‘It’s Your Lucky Day,’ is now airing on A2Z and GTV.
In response, Ms. Gozon-Valdes stated, “Well, pina-plug namin sa GTV and I think it’s a fun show, meron din tayong Sparkle artist na magiging halos mainstay for the run of It’s Your Lucky Day so excited ako na makita kung ano ‘yung show tomorrow.”
‘It’s Your Lucky Day’ began airing on Saturday, October 14, and it is hosted by Luis Manzano, Melai Cantiveros, and Robi Domingo.
The show has received positive feedback for its smooth and refreshing hosting by Luis “Lucky” Manzano and his co-hosts Robi Domingo, Melai Cantiveros, and Jennica Garcia. Not only the show but also the stars joining them, including Francine Diaz, Seth Fedelin, and Shaina Magdayao, have made it to the trending list.
This new show made its debut on GTV, while ‘It’s Showtime,’ which it replaced, received a suspension from the MTRCB for 12 days.
This marks the third time that a Kapuso executive visited the ABS-CBN compound. Their most recent visit was when they watched a live taping of ‘It’s Showtime’ on September 28, the same day when the MTRCB released its resolution regarding the denial of the motion for reconsideration filed by ‘It’s Showtime.’
This decision was related to the 12-day suspension imposed on the Kapamilya noontime show.
