The primetime action-drama teleserye ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo (FPJBQ)’ by ABS-CBN quickly reclaimed its dominant position in the ratings chart following a one-day setback against ’24 Oras’.

According to the most recent Nielsen NUTAM People survey ratings, FPJBQ has surged back to the top of the ratings board, surpassing ’24 Oras.’

On Thursday, October 5, FPJBQ reclaimed the number 1 position with an impressive rating of 16.8 percent, surpassing ’24 Oras,’ which secured the second spot with a 15.8 percent rating, by a 1 percent margin.

Continuing this success, on Friday, October 6, the teleserye led by Coco Martin maintained its leadership with a rating of 14.5 percent, edging out ’24 Oras,’ which scored 14.0 percent, by 0.5 percent.

Before its resurgence at the top of the ratings chart, FPJBQ had temporarily lost the lead to ’24 Oras’ on Wednesday, October 4, with a rating of 15.5 percent, slightly lower than ’24 Oras’ 15.8 percent.

In an earlier match on Tuesday, October 3, FPJBQ and ’24 Oras’ were tied for the number 1 position, both boasting a rating of 15.9 percent.

FPJBQ had a strong start to the week on Monday, October 2, leading the overall rankings with a rating of 16.5 percent, which was 1.6 percent higher than 24 Oras’ 14.9 percent.

The question now is whether FPJBQ will maintain its winning streak or if 24 Oras will regain the top spot. Only time will tell.
