On September 18, actress Matet De Leon recounted working with her ‘Love Before Sunrise’ co-stars Dennis Trillo and Bea Alonzo in her previous projects.
At the media conference for ‘Love Before Sunrise,’ which LionhearTV covered, De Leon thanked the team behind the Kapuso series for the opportunity.
“I’m very grateful na nasali po ako dito at tsaka sa writers, maraming salamat po. Ito po kinukuha ko ‘yung oportunidad para magpasalamat sa inyo.”
She recalled working with Trillo in the 2001 series, ‘Dulo ng Walang Hanggan.’
“Ito po nagkatrabaho po kami ni Dennis siguro noong 2001 sa Dulo ng Walang Hanggan. I would just like to say, mula noon hanggang ngayon ganito lang si Dennis talagang tahimik lang si Dennis. Hindi talaga siya nagsasalita masyado.”
She also noted working with Alonzo in the 2017 series, ‘A Love to Last.’
“And si Mars, nagkatrabaho naman kami sa A Love to Last noong 2017, oo. Yes Donde, nakatrabaho ko na sila parehas.”
She then talked about what it was like working with Trillo and Alonzo in some of their scenes in ‘Love Before Sunrise.’
“Pero, alam mo, hanggang ngayon kagaya din noong nakunan natin last time, noong inaway ko silang dalawa, sabi ko, ‘Bakit ninyo ginagawa sa akin ‘to. Parang hindi ko kayang sigawan ‘yung dalawa.’ So, binilisan ko na lang. Tapos na– Tapos na ‘yung eksena.
“So ‘yun po, again, maraming maraming salamat po nasali ako dito. Thank you Dennis and Mars, I love you both.”
As for their series, ‘Love Before Sunrise’ stars Bea Alonzo, Dennis Trillo, Andrea Torres, and Sid Lucero.
The cast also features Sef Cadayona, Rodjun Cruz, Vaness del Moral, Vince Maristela, Jose Sarasola, Cheska Fausto, Tetchie Agbayani, Ricky Davao, Jackie Lou Blanco, Isay Alvarez, Nadia Montenegro, and Matet de Leon.
The GMA Network-Viu Philippines produced series, under the direction of Mark Sicat Dela Cruz, airs on GMA Telebabad from Mondays to Fridays after Maging Sino Ka Man, with weekly 48-hour early episodes through the streaming app Viu.
