On September 27, ‘Shake Rattle & Roll: Extreme’ vlogger Ninong Ry (Ryan Morales Reyes) detailed his terrifying paranormal experience.
At the cast reveal event for ‘Shake, Rattle, & Roll: Extreme,’ which LionhearTV covered, Ninong Ry recounted how he heard a knock from the drywall towards their restroom in the middle of the night.
“Nakahiga ako sa kwarto, tapos ‘yung katabi ko pader, kahoy lang siya, dry wall. Nakadikit ‘yung tenga ko dito, tapos, tok, tok, tok, may kumatok. Natutulog na ko eh, nangugulo pa ‘tong kapatid ko. Kasi ‘yung kabilang side noon banyo. Tabi ng kwarto ko banyo.”
He thought the knock came from his brother pulling a prank on him.
“Di ko pinansin, tok, tok, tok. Ganon uli. Sabi ko, ‘Ano ba yan?’ Tak, tak, tak, ginanon ko, nilabanan ko, aba sumagot, ganon ulit. Sabi ko, ano ba ‘to, Rannie, tama na, natutulog na ako. Akala ko kapatid ko, pinagtritripan ako.”
However, in a terrifying realization, Ninong Ry remembered that their restroom had tiled walls that would not make a knocking sound.
“Tok, tok, tok ganon ulit. Sabi ko, ‘Bahala ka, matutulog na ko.’ Pumikit na ko, tapos bigla kong na-realize, nakatiles pala ‘yung banyo, paano makakatok ‘yun.Â
“Di ba naka-tiles ‘yung banyo, tapos kahoy ‘yung pader, so ano nasa loob ng pader?”
When asked how he handled it, Ninong Ry responded, “So wala tinulog ko na lang, nagdasal na lang ako.”
As for their upcoming film, the three-part horror movie ‘Shake, Rattle, & Roll: Extreme’ features three stories, ‘Mukbang,’ ‘Rage,’ and ‘Glitch.’
‘Mukbang,’ under the direction of Jerold Tarog, features Jane Oineza, RK Bagatsing, Paul Salas, AC Bonifacio, Jana Taladro, Esnyr Ranollo Ninong Rhy, Ian Gimena, Francis Mata, and Elle Villanueva.
‘Rage,’ directed by Joey De Guzman, features Jane De Leon, Rob Gomez, Paolo Gumabao, Bryce Eusebio, Mika Reyes, Sarah Edwards, and Dustin Yu.
‘Glitch,’ helmed by Richard Somes, features Iza Calzado, Angel Guardian, Miggs Cuaderno, and Donna Cariaga.
Regal Entertainment head Roselle Monteverde aspires to have the iconic horror film back in the Metro Manila Film Festival 2023 roster.
