Formed only this year, Bangkok’s newest band SALAD releases yet another stellar single ‘Another’, as they reinvent their sound after the earlier release of their first ever EP Beach Music.
The single ‘Another’ adopts a different sound from their previous EP Beach Music, featuring a more pronounced punk element, with increased sound design and a faster paced rhythm. The band also intensifies their sound recording process in the new single, opting for equipment in their sound design that provides a hi-fi sound.
While there are significant changes in the rhythm section and bass for listeners who are familiar with SALAD’s previous works, these changes are made deliberately by the band to introduce a new sound for their upcoming album in 2024, while maintaining their identity with a distinctive guitar sound that characterises the band.
Earlier in August 2023, SALAD released their first-ever EP Beach Music, consisting of tracks like ‘Tangerine Dream’ and ‘Too Good To Be True’, which many of their fans know them by.
