Gillian Vicencio, an artist under Star Magic, has found herself thrust into the spotlight on social media after her name was implicated in the recent breakup between Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo.
On November 30, Gillian’s name gained prominence on social media following a circulating conversation that accused her of being romantically involved with Daniel.
The controversy originated from a discussion between two friends, asserting that something had occurred between Gillian and Daniel. The conversation even mentioned Sue Ramirez. According to the claims, Kathryn noticed Daniel engrossed in conversation with someone, leading to a confrontation when he refused to show his phone to the actress.

However, Gillian had already addressed the issue back in September during an interview with ‘Marites University.’
“Ano ba talaga yung totoong eksena or something para malinawan yung manonood para matigil na din yung issue nila about you na meron kayong something ni DJ. To the point na di ba magkasama pa kayo ni Kath sa ‘A Very Good Girl,” one of the hosts, DJ Jhaiho, asked.
Gillian firmly stated that she and Daniel were just friends, emphasizing their close-knit group.
“Yeah, actually guys wala po talaga, magtotropa po talaga kaming apat. Kami po yung sobrang naging solid so, ayun, kami’y nagbo-bonding bonding so hindi ko talaga alam kung saan nanggagaling yung mga sinasabi,” she remarked.
Expressing sadness over receiving ‘below-the-belt’ comments from some netizens blaming her for the celebrity couple’s breakup, Gillian commended Kathryn for her approachability, stating that she couldn’t do anything bad to the Kapamilya actress.

Gillian and KathNiel previously collaborated on the television series ‘2 Good 2 Be True’ last year. A spin-off series titled ‘ReTox: 2 Be Continued,’ continuing the love team of Yves Flores and Gillian, premiered last August.
