Recognized for his comedic rapport with Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola, Tugue Zombie has become a staple on the show, making his absence a notable topic among viewers. Speculations about his status and potential departure have been circulating, leaving fans curious about the comedian’s future with ‘E.A.T.’
Seeking to address the concerns, Tugue Zombie clarified during the press conference for the film ‘Penduko,’ where he makes his cinematic debut alongside Matteo Guidicelli, that he is currently on leave. He assured fans that he formally sought permission for the hiatus and expressed optimism about returning to the popular noontime show in the near future.
Despite the clarification, rumors continue to circulate about the possibility of Tugue Zombie’s permanent exit from ‘E.A.T.’ However, the comedian refuted these claims, emphasizing his intention to resume his role on the show after his brief break.
In addition to discussing his temporary break from the show, Tugue Zombie shared plans to return to his homeland, Nigeria, after residing in the Philippines for eight years. Initially intending to bring his parents to the Philippines, he decided to make a trip to Nigeria first. Tugue Zombie expressed hope that, eventually, he could bring his parents to the Philippines and introduce them to the film ‘Penduko.’
