In a recent interview with Toni Gonzaga, Alden Richards, a well-known Kapuso star, expressed his weariness regarding persistent rumors surrounding his gender identity.
Richards candidly dismissed the speculation, emphasizing that he has no inclination to engage with such issues about his personal life.
“Tingin n’yo ganun? Fine! Tingin n’yo bading, fine. Tingin ko nga minsan ‘pag may ganu’ng mga rumor, wala na bang iba?” responded Richards, pointing out the ease with which judgments are made about men’s gender in the entertainment industry, often based on unfounded rumors.
“I have my life right now. I’m happy perfectly with what I have, what I’m able to do at the moment. I seize every opportunity, sayang? There’s time for that,” he added.
Richards also expressed contentment with his current circle of friends, citing Julia Montes and Coco Martin. He highlighted the instant connection formed during a recent project, acknowledging that these individuals have become significant parts of each other’s lives.
“Ang sarap lang sa pakiramdam na you get to meet authentic people pa rin pala. And those people, I tend to treasure,” he stated.
