On January 17, Kapamilya stars Alexa Ilacad and KD Estrada recounted how they adjusted to each other’s mood while working on their first teleserye, Pira-Pirasong Paraiso.
At the media conference for the Pira-Pirasong Paraiso finale, which LionhearTV covered, Ilacad noted how Estrada would work around her whenever she was in ‘serious mode.’
“He knows how to work around that and me when I’m in serious mode. So I think that helped us [a lot to] learn how to compromise and help each other.”
Estrada added, “‘Yun lang naman po. When I see her na super serious, ‘Ay okay, sige po wag po.'”
Ilacad pointed out how Estrada would build her up whenever she gets tired working on the set of the Kapamilya teleserye.
“Aside from the three girls and our production, siyempre siya ‘yung pinaka-nakakaintindi sa akin, like kapag tinotopak na ako ng slight or kapag super tired na ako ng slight, siya talaga ‘yung nagbi-build sa akin at always pushing, reminding me that I did great during the times na I feel I didn’t give my best. So ‘yun, it’s been such a great journey. And because it is our first, it’s a journey I will always remember.”
Ilacad then highlighted how much she wanted to live up to her new title, ‘next-gen dramatic actress.’
“Opo kasi, noong binigyan po kami ng title na next-gen dramatic actresses, I wanted to make sure that I deserved that title. So I’m continuously working hard to deserve that.”
