Smartphone brand HONOR has officially launched the HONOR X9b in the Philippines, showcasing a device that builds upon the success of its predecessor, the HONOR X9a.
Positioned in the mid-range category, the smartphone boasts an array of standout features, placing emphasis on durability and cutting-edge innovation.
The launch event, a star-studded affair held at Marriott Hotel in Pasay City, was elegantly hosted by Beauty Queen Pauline Amelinckx. Attendees were further treated to an entertaining performance by Chito Miranda, the celebrated vocalist of Parokya ni Edgar.
A key highlight of the HONOR X9b is its HONOR Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop Display, providing comprehensive 360° Anti-Drop Protection. This innovative feature incorporates a three-level protection system and utilizes HONOR cushioning material, ensuring exceptional durability. The device has also received the esteemed SGS 5-star Whole-device Drop Resistance Certification.
Expressing excitement about the latest release, HONOR Philippines Vice President Stephen Cheng remarked, “We are very excited to finally introduce the HONOR X9b 5G, the toughest phone that embodies our commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation and delivering an exceptional user experience.”

At the rear, the circular camera module houses a formidable camera setup, including a high-resolution 108MP main camera, a 5MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor.
Under the hood, the HONOR X9b is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset and is equipped with an impressive 5800mAh battery, supporting 35W wired SuperCharge through USB-C.
The HONOR X9b is now available in the Philippines at a competitive price of PHP 16,999 through leading platforms such as Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop. As an added incentive, customers who pre-order the device between January 12 and 14 will receive a complimentary HONOR Gift Box and HONOR Choice X5 Earbuds, valued at PHP 4,000.
