Basketball player and actor Ricci Rivero shared his feelings of gratitude for the positive trajectory of his career and personal relationships.
Rivero, who has successfully navigated past controversies, is appreciative of the blessings coming his way.
Rivero, known for his high-profile breakup with ex-girlfriend Andrea Brillantes, clarified that there is no lingering tension between them post-split.
When asked about Andrea’s alleged involvement in the separation of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, Rivero chose not to comment, emphasizing his desire for peace.
“Any comment wala po. From the very start, I just wanted peace for everyone. Ako gusto ko lang family ko masaya, I’m very lucky to be happy as well both career and relationship ngayon. Wala ako anything against kahit sino. Kaya ako nagsalita before just for the sake for people to hear my side,” Rivero stated.
He noted that he previously spoke up to defend his family and girlfriend, Leren Mae Bautista, during times of criticism. However, Rivero expressed that any animosity has dissipated, and he conveyed sadness for the judgment his family and Leren faced.
“Pero ngayon tapos na du’n. I’m just happy masaya family ngayon. Mas happy kami ngayon. ‘Yung core namin is hanggang nasa tama ka naman, God will help us din through the storms. Lahat yan hindi bibigay without knowing kaya natin lagpasan,” Rivero added.
Reflecting on his past relationship with Andrea Brillantes, Rivero shared that he has learned to keep his current relationship more private.
“‘Yung relationship namin private na po muna,” he concluded.
